We will be awarding grants for education for the academic year 2025-2026 and invite you to an in-person writing session in Lincoln, Virginia, on Saturday March 8, 2025. Please read this page carefully before starting the online application.
Applications are due Wednesday, March 5, 2025. If you are unable to attend the in-person writing session on March 8, you should email goose.creek.scholarships@gmail.com to discuss options.
The scholarships:
Jane Pancoast Shepherd Scholarship
The Jane Pancoast Shepherd Scholarship was established to meet Jane’s wish that students from Loudoun County, VA be provided with assistance in their education. Any accredited college or graduate program qualifies as well as George School (which Jane attended).
Goose Creek Friends Meeting Scholarship
The Goose Creek Friends Meeting Scholarship Fund combined several historical funds to award grants to students from Goose Creek Meeting and the greater Lincoln, Virginia, community seeking education after high school.
