We will be awarding grants for education for the academic year 2021-2022. Our process is moving online to meet the reality of Covid-19, and an online application will be published soon. (Please check below for eligibility requirements.) Students eligible to apply (please check below for eligibility requirements) should email to be added to our mailing list. Applicants will attend an online essay writing meeting on the morning of Saturday March 6, 2021.

The two scholarships available are:

Jane Pancoast Shepherd Scholarship

Jane’s wish was that students from Loudoun County be provided with assistance in their education. Any accredited college or graduate program qualifies as well as George School (which Jane attended).

Goose Creek Friends Meeting Scholarship

The Goose Creek Friends Meeting Scholarship Fund combined several historical funds to award grants to students from Goose Creek Meeting and the greater Lincoln community seeking education after high school.

If you are a student who cannot attend the March 7 writing session, please let the committee know before March 7, 2020 so that we may schedule a remote essay writing time.
